Farming
Rehabilated
patients cultivate 18 acres of land. Crops include maize,
jowar, bajra, onions, garlic and chillies. These are used

Leather work
Chappals (slippers) and sandals are custom made to meet different
orthotic requirements. |
Other
rehabilitation work involves pottery, carpet making, tailoring,
sheep farming. All of which are managed by the ex-patients
themselves. But Dr Patwardhan (Indutai) wanted to make leprosy patients
self sufficient. She inspired them to utilise talents within themselves.
